CHIROPRACTIC CARE
Relaxation / More Comfort / Better Sleep

Chiropractic care is based upon the concept that proper alignment of the spine improves pain, reduces illness and promotes health and performance.  Licensed chiropractors can use various techniques to adjust vertebrae and joints, usually with immediate improvements in pain and function.  Although clinical studies have not shown any direct benefit of chiropractic adjustments on PTSD, chiropractic adjustments are recommended as a safe treatment for the relief of musculospinal pain which is a major complaint of veterans and chronic pain can aggravate the hyperarousal symptoms of PTSD and interfere with healthy restorative sleep.

In the Integrative Immersion Process (IIP) sessions, chiropractic adjustments gently align the spine after the EFT and aromatherapy calms both emotionally and physically and therapeutic massage and energy work (qigong and Reiki) relax tension and improve comfort levels.  The IIP Session chiropractors use several techniques, including the use of activators and ArthoStim as well as more traditional "hands on" techniques.  IIP Session participants may decline chiropractic care by marking it on the intake forms or telling the practitioners during their IIP Session.
